14 nights / 15 days from Beijing or Lhasa to Kathmandu
Day 01 : Arrive Lhasa from Beijing
Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport today from USA via Beijing. You will be welcomed with a smile by Aradhya tours representative at the airport. A comfortable escorted transfer to your hotel in Lhasa will be organised by our representative. On reaching the hotel complete the checkin formalities and rest of the day will be free for rest and acclimatization. Lhasa is about 3600 meters high above sea level and acclimatization will play an important role in your trip in Tibet and specifically to Mt. Kailash. Keeping yourself relaxed and hyderated is the best mantra to adjust with the tough weather conditions in high altitude. Today, night stay will be in Lhasa.
Day 02 : Lhasa Sightseeing
After breakfast the guide will take you out for a half day sightseeing tour of Lhasa city visiting the most splendid Jokhang Temple, followed by a visit to the circular Barkhor Street. Later also visit the popular Potala Palace before returning to your hotel for night stay.
Day 03 : Lhasa Sightseeing
After breakfast the guide will take you for half day sightseeing tour of Tibet. Today you will visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Rest of the time will be free to rest and acclimatize before you continue further on your Kailash Mansarovar Lhasa tour package the following day.
Day 04 : Lhasa to Lhatse via Shigatse
After breakfast check out from your hotel in Lhasa and continue drive towards Lhatse. Visit Tashilunpo Monastery on the way. On reaching Lhatse check into the hotel for night stay in Lhatse.
Day 05 : Visit Everest Base Camp, Rongbuk Monastery
Early morning head towards Mount Everest Base camp on your Kailash Mansarovar Lhasa tour package. The 170 kms drive will take about 5 hours to reach Everest Base Camp EBC. On reaching here spend time exploring the beauty of the world’s highest mountain and also visit Rongbuk Monastery. Later drive back to your hotel in Lhatse for night stay.
Day 06 : Lhatse to Saga
Wake up early, have some breakfast, and then start your drive towards Saga. Saga is considered to be the entry point for Kailash Mansarovar region and is an important point for trade between three majour towns of Tibet viz Lhasa, Gyirong and Prayang. Max Holidays representatives will serve packed lunch in the midway. Finally, reach Saga and stay overnight at Hotel Saga or equivalent.
Day 07 : Saga to Lake Mansarovar
Today, you are going to have the first view of Mount Kailash and also the pious Lake Manasarovar. After quick breakfast in Saga, start your journey to Lake Manasarovar while passing through the Mayum La Pass, which is considered to be the highest point of your drive to Mansarovar. Finally, on reaching Manasarovar Lake, you will have to change your vehicle and board the Chinese buses that will be assisting you in the circumambulation (Parikrama) of Lake Mansarovar. Stay overnight in a guesthouse in dormitory styled near Lake Manasarovar.
Day 08 : Lake Mansarovar to Darchen
Have some breakfast and then start a drive of approx. 110 kms / 3 hour towards Darchen which is known as the base camp for Mount Kailash and the start point of Mt. Kailash Kora. On reaching Darchen check into your hotel and rest before starting Mt. Kailash Kora the following day.
Day 09 : Trek to Dhirapukh
Today is the first day of Kora of Mount Kailash (circumambulation or parikrama). After breakfast get on the bus and drive 6 kms to Yam Dwar. Here at Yam Dwar you will see counters to hire mule and pony. With the assistance of your guide you may hire the same, if you want (subject to availability). Start your 13 kms trekking with the group which may take 5-7 hours depending on your pace. During this trek, you are cross through the western face of Mount Kailash. Soon you will reach North Face of the mount which is the most closest and beautiful view you will have on this journey. Reach Dirapuk and then stay overnight in a lodge. Pilgrims who did not started their trek will stay back at Darchen and wait for other group members to return from the kora.
Day 10 : Trek to Zuthulpukh through Dolma La Pass
Wake up early if you want to have a darshan of the ‘Golden Kailash’. After darshan take quick breakfast and start your next day trek to Zuthulpukh via Dolma La pass. The toughest day of the entire journey because Dolma La trek is steep uo and down for about 6 kms and this is the highest point (5600m and more) of the trek. After crossing Dolma La Pass witness the Gauri Kund. Stay here for few minutes and then continue trek to Zuthulpukh. Stay overnight in a dormitory-styled lodge/guesthouse at Zuthulphuk.
Those who do not fit healthy or are not interested in second day trek can come down to Darchen. The guide shall organise for their return trek down. Hotel stay in Darchen will be at an additional cost due to change in the itinerary by the traveller.
Day 11 : Trek down to Darchen, Drive to Saga
Travel abount 6 kms by trek this morning and then you will be picked up by the vehicle waiting for you to bring down to Darchen where other members are waiting for you. On reaching Darchen continue drive to Saga for night stay on your return journey.
Day 12 : Drive to Gyirong
The morning after leisurely breakfast we set off for Gyirong. Gyirong also written as Kyirong or Kerung is the border town in Tibet which connects China and Nepal for trade and tourism. The drive through Brahmaputra River and Peiku Lake will take 4-5 hours to finish at Gyirong. Night stay will be in a hotel at Gyirong.
Day 13 : Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast drive to the Nepal border and then after completing border formalities cross over to reach Nepal. Continue 7 hours long drive to Kathmandu through some rough roads along Karnali river. Reach Kathmandu in the evening for a comfortable night stay.
Day 14 : Kathmandu sightseeing
Early morning visit Pashupatinath temple for darshan and puja. Explore the temple and spend some time here before you go back to your hotel. Later also visit Neelkanth Vishnu Temple and Guheshwory Mata Temple. Rest of the time free for personal activities and rest. Night stay in the hotel.
Day 15 : Leave Kathmandu
Intime you will be transfered to Kathmandu airport to board flight to home/onward destination.

List of other cost exclusions that may have to be taken care by travellers in extreme cases:
- Additional hotel accommodation and meals for extra stay in the event of delay of the trip due to any unforeseen reason or changes,
- Transport services for any additional sightseeing service which is not mentioned in the itinerary,
- Emergency evacuation expenses,
- Emergency medical expenses in the event of hospitalisation,
- Extra expense for additional necessary permissions or visa splitting charges and all additional services in the event of change in tour plan by the traveller before or during the yatra,
- Urgent visa fee if required,
- All additional expense for returning early from the trip due to any personal reason,
- Any and all additional expense or increase in cost of any trip item or service due to sudden hike in permit fee, visa charges, flight fares, hotel prices or price for other trip services by concerned authorities or flight companies or hotel owners or vendors etc. or due to any other reason or situation which is beyond our control,
- Our services also does not include any other additional expense incurred before or during the trip due to any unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, weather conditions, natural disaster, act of God, technical failure, flight delay or cancelation, delay by authorities in issuing permits or entry visa, strikes, riots, political closures, not opening of the borders due to lockdown situation or any other reason, war situation, and/or any other situation or circumstances which are beyond our control,
- Any service/s which is not mentioned in our above ‘list of package cost inclusions’ does not fall under the liability of the Company and the same will be paid by the traveller only in advance or at the time of consuming the service, as may be the requirement of the case,
